Government Relations Chair’sAnnual Report 2008/2009

The main focus of my activities this past year as Government Relations Chair was to formalize the process of passing along current topics of interest to our members. The National Office sends out email messages and posts information on various topics it believes to be of interest, and I have tried to send out email alerts on these topics and to let our member know what action we can take on them.

I was also able to include an article about Government Relations in our Newsletter, written along with Michael McLane, in an effort to raise awareness of Legislative Advocacy.
