The Eastern New York Chapter of ACRL invites proposals for poster sessions for its Spring Conference which will be held May 18, 2009 at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. The conference, entitled "Exploring Access in 2009 and Beyond" will focus on access in academic library settings.

This is an opportunity to share your research ideas related to access  with your colleagues. Posters can highlight a research study, a practical problem-solving effort or an innovative library program that highlights access.

The receipt deadline for proposals is April 13, 2009. Proposals received after this date may be considered if there is still space available for participation.

Proposals should include:

1. Author's or Authors' name(s). (If there is more than one author, choose one person to be the contact.)
2. Institution
3. Contact information including phone number, fax number, email, and mailing address
4. Title of poster session
5. Technology, electricity and space needs
6. Summary description of no more than 250 words

Completed poster proposals are due by April 13, 2009. To submit a proposal please complete the Poster Session Proposal Form and send to:
