{"id":969,"date":"2013-09-30T09:57:38","date_gmt":"2013-09-30T13:57:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/enyacrl.s468.sureserver.com\/site\/?p=969"},"modified":"2013-09-30T09:57:38","modified_gmt":"2013-09-30T13:57:38","slug":"open-access-week-2013-at-ualbany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.enyacrl.org\/site\/open-access-week-2013-at-ualbany\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Access Week 2013 at UAlbany"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University at Albany Libraries are celebrating Open Access Week 2013 with a program of student and faculty presentations on Wednesday, October 23.<\/p>\n<p><b>Open Access Week<\/b>, a global event now entering its 7th year, is an opportunity for the academic and research community to continue to learn more about the benefits of Open Access, to share what they\u2019ve learned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation in making Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research.\u00a0 Open Access to information \u2013 the free, immediate, online access to the results of scholarly research, and the right to use and reuse those results as needed \u2013 has the power to transform the way research and scientific inquiry are conducted.
