Vice President/President-Elect
My name is Abby Adams, and I am the Subject Librarian for Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, Cybersecurity, and Criminal Justice at SUNY Albany. I began this position in Fall 2019 after receiving my MLS in Kansas. Prior to my cross-country move, I worked at a community college in Kansas and was active in several state and local library associations there. I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming involved in my new home state, and I look forward to building relationships and learning from the other academic librarians of upstate New York.

Liz King joined Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Libraries in 2019 as Associate Director, Library Information Services, where she oversees the daily operations of the Technical Services Department. Liz is working on ongoing and new initiatives at Rensselaer Libraries, including the continued development of an information literacy strategy for the Rensselaer Libraries. Liz is also an Adjunct, Associate Professor for distance learning classes within the Business, Government, and Technical Communications Department at Austin Community College. Prior to taking on her current role in administration, Liz was a Research, Instruction, and Outreach Librarian at an emerging research university. Regina Vertone is currently an Access Services Librarian at the Sage Colleges. Since May 2012 while at Sage, Regina has worked in areas of circulation, reference, interlibrary loan and information literacy. Working in libraries creates opportunities for teaching, learning and sharing the beauty of critical thinking within the world we live in. Meeting, collaborating and sharing ideas with other librarians within ENY/ACRL makes our exciting profession stronger. It would be an honor to serve as Membership Chair. Thank you for your consideration.
