Hudson Valley Community College invites you to bring your lunch and join us on October 9, 2013 at noon for a presentation by Professor Susan Slater-Tanner (Orange County Community College). Her lecture, entitled “The Role, Value and Function of Academic Exhibition Spaces at SUNY Community Colleges in Times of Economic Shifting Terrains,” will focus on first generation college students, cultural capital, and viable paths to academic inclusion.
Following her presentation, tours of our recently renovated facility will be available and we invite guests to visit some of our academic exhibition spaces. See the attached flyer for additional information.
